The Partnership

GEMS Education partnership with Swiss Education Group offers unique opportunities to GEMS students interested in studying hospitality  in Switzerland, the best destination in the industry!  This UniConnect collaboration gives GEMS students and GEMS Alumni access to a variety of higher education institutions in a more affordable manner.  Through this partnership, SEG will also be promoted on MyPathToUni that is a consortium of services and resources available to all students, GEMS and non-GEMS in the UAE and abroad.

Special offers for GEMS Students

Due to the partnership and excellent relations between Swiss Education Group and GEMS schools, scholarships will be provided to any eligible GEMS students wishing to enroll into a bachelor’s degree offered by SEG owned schools at a rate of 25% discounted price on tuition fees for the duration of the student’s studies.

The Group’s four schools are situated in six stunning campuses in both the French and German-speaking regions of Switzerland. They offer graduates an excellent foundation for a successful career in hotel, hospitality business & Culinary Arts management:

  • Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) – Specialises in Hospitality, Events planning, Resort and Spa Management.
  • Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland – Specialises in Culinary Management, Pastry and Chocolate Arts.

All programs offer one or two paid internships that can be done in Switzerland or internationally. Our team of career coaches will help you find your dream internship and assist you throughout the process. Students who wish to do their internship in Switzerland will receive a monthly salary of 2,500 USD.

All our schools offer state-of-the-art facilities, on-campus accommodation, meals, health insurance, books, career coaching, etc.. All included in the fees.

 

 

Oriental Education (OE) has been appointed by Swiss Education Group to help bridge the gap between GEMS graduates and Swiss Education Group schools. This appointment has allowed for a dedicated GEMS student counsellor to be available for you to answer any queries you may have in regard to Swiss Education Group schools. Included in this service at request is, personal counseling, application and visa assistance, parent information sessions, summer introductory courses, school visits and more.

Swiss Hotel Management School: Bachelor in Hospitality and/or Events Management (intake starting November 2020)

Swiss Hotel Management School is housed in two beautiful former palace hotels in the mountains, in Caux (a short train ride from Montreux) and Leysin. Hotel Institute Montreux offers both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree focused on a choice of specializations, including Finance, Human Resource Management and Luxury Brand Management. Industry partnerships with Tag Heuer, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Edmond de Rothschild, to name a few, help cement the learning experience for each student, as they benefit from real-world knowledge brought directly to the classroom. With its central location, this campus benefits from beautiful views of Lake Geneva and ease of access to Geneva Airport for weekend trips across Europe.

César Ritz Colleges Switzerland: Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management

Le Bouveret offers a Bachelor’s degree in partnership with University of Derby (U.K.) and a Swiss Grand Diploma (short course) in Culinary Arts.
